More than 5,000 delegates, alternates and guests are expected to participate in AFSCME’s 41st International Convention held July 14-18 at McCormick Place North in Chicago, IL.

Elections take place Thursday in room N228 from 6 - 10 a.m.
On Wednesday from 7:30 – 10:00 a.m., AFSCME members will once again caucus with brothers and sisters who work in similar jobs, face common challenges and share the same pride in their work.
Do you want to up your game and add to your toolbox as an AFSCME leader? The convention workshops will give you a chance to share your experiences, develop strategies, and sharpen your skills for the fights ahead.
Whether you are a first-time delegate looking for best practices for overseeing your local union's finances or a senior leader interested in the latest ideas about protecting retirement security, there is a workshop for you.
Selected workshops are offered in Spanish. Workshops will occur Monday from 2 – 3:30 p.m., and Tuesday from 7:30 – 9 a.m. Look for the convention workshop registration kiosks, right across from the convention registration area.
